JAYASRI BURMAN
was born in Kolkata in 1960. She obtained her degrees from Kala Bhavan, Santineketan (1977-79), College of Visual Art, Kolkata (1979-80) and had guidance under Monsieur Ceizerzi in France.
She showed her works in solo exhibitions at Chitrakoot Gallery, Kolkata (1985, 90, 92,96); Pundole Gallery, Mumbai (1989,92) and Gallerie Ganesha, New Delhi (1997,99) among others.
She has participated in a three person exhibition in Paris, and took part in the International Triennale Intergraphic in Germany (1987).
Her works are in the collections of the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi; Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi and several private collections in India and abroad.
She works with water colours and lives in New Delhi.

RAVI KASHI is a Bangalore based artist and one of its most promising
young talents. He was born in 1968 in Bangalore and studied art at
the College of Fine Arts, Bangalore. He obtained his MFA in print
making from MSU, Baroda in 1990 and has an MA in English Literature from Mysore University.
Kashi has been the recipient of a number of awards, among them the
Young Artist Award from the Kejriwal Trust (1999), and the Charles
Wallace India Trust Grant to study in the Glasgow School of Art, 2001.
He is co-editor of the Kannada art & culture magazine "Sanchaya",
as well as writing for other Kannada magazines. Kashi also contributes
regularly to the Times of India and Deccan Herald newspapers.
He is a visiting faculty at the Dept. of Architecture at the R.V.
College of Engineering.
Ravi Kashi's works are in public collections including the Lalit Kala
Academy, Modern Art Gallery, New Delhi; Dept. of Oriental Antiquities,
British Museum, as well as in many private collections
in India and abroad.

PARESH MAITY was born in 1965, and studied Painting (BFA) at Govt. College of Art and Craft, Kolkata and Painting (MFA), at College of Art, New Delhi.
Maity has had a large number of solo exhibitions in India since his first one at the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata in 1988. He has also shown a number of time in Europe, such as Gallerie Aspekte, Germany; Galerie Mohanjeet, Paris; Paracelsus Rotenflesdinik Ausgestelet in association with Galerie Aspekte, Germany; and ARKS Gallery in London.
Maity’s works are in the collections of the British Museum, London; National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi; Common Wealth Development Corporation, London and is represented in several private and public collections in India and abroad.
He is the recipient of the Harmony Award, Mumbai (1999); British Council Visitorship (1993); All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society Award for Best Water Colour Painting, New Delhi (1990); Award from Indian Society of Oriental Art (1986) and a Gold Medal from Russia.
Maity lives and works in New Delhi.

J.M.S. MANI was born in Bangalore in 1949 and studied at the Ken School
of Art. Mani is known and easily recognised for his sense of colour and strong, fluid strokes. He paints figurative works portraying the Badami people in vibrant colours, landscapes in water colours, and charcoal drawings as well as abstract works in oils and acrylics on canvas.
Mani has held solo shows since 1979 at Bangalore University;Kritika Art Gallery (1981,82); Regional Center, Chennai (1982);Lee Arthur Studio, New York (1994); Gallery Maya, Hong Kong (1995); Mall Gallery, London (1995); Switzerland - Graphics (1995).
Mani's works are in many private and public collections in India and abroad such as Bangalore City Planetarium; Modern Art Gallery, New Delhi; Hotel Oberoi, Bangalore; Holiday Inn, Bangalore; Karnataka Govt. Museum, Brooke Bond, Bangalore; Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
JMS Mani lives and works in Bangalore, India.

REKHA RAO was born in Mumbai in 1947 and studied painting under her father, the renowned artist K.K. Hebbar.
Invitee shows include Concern India Auction 2000, 2001; Art for CRY, Jehangir Art Gallery, 1988,’95; Dubai 2000; Homage to Pandit Nehru, LKA, Delhi and Bombay Art Society’s Centenary Show 1989 and IV Triennale India.
Her works are in many private and public collections in India and abroad.

SISIR SAHANA was born in 1963 in Bankura, West Bengal.
He studied art at Kala Bhavan, Santineketan, and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s
Fine Art Degree in painting. Sahana also holds an Advanced Diploma in stained glass
painting from Central St. Martin’s College of Art & Design, London (1994).
He is the recipient of the Merit Scholarship from Kala Bhavan, Santineketan (1982-89); Commonwealth Scholarship nominated by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Dept. of Education, Govt. of India, (1993-94) ; he was an invitee on a fellowship at Wheaton Village, USA by the Creative Glass Center of America (2000).
Sahana has received awards from Kala Bhavan, Santineketan, 1986; Samakalin Chitrakala Parishath, Assam in 1989; Bombay Art Society, 1993 and Hyderabad Art Society in 1995. He has participated in numerous All India art exhibitions since 1987.
Sahana’s solo exhibitions include showings at major cities in India through 1989-2001.
He has has shown abroad at the Cochrane Theatre, London (1993,94) and Chon & Wolfe Young Artists Exhibition, London (1994); Knap Gallery and Raw Gallery, London (1994) and the Bankside Gallery, London (2000).
His work has been featured in the book of Architectural Glass Art by Andrew Moor & Associates, London and in Twentieth Century Indian Sculpture, Marg Publications, India. He was visiting lecturer at the College of Fine Arts, JNTU, Hyderabad in1991-92 and also worked as Art Teacher in the Hyderabad Public School from 1989-93.
Sahana lives and works in Hyderabad.
