Recently retired from the Art Dept., Universityof Hyderabad, Laxma Goud
has a diploma in Drawing & Painting, Govt. College of Fine Arts &
Literature, Hyderabad. He also has a Post Diploma from M.S University,
Baroda. He has participated in many important shows, including
Ansell Gallery, London, 1973;
“Figurative Indian Artists” Warsaw, Budapest;
Goethe Institute, Munich, Germany;
Tokyo Print Biennale, all in 1976;
Sao Paulo Biennale, Brazil, 1977;
“India in Print”, Konninklijk Institute Vorde, Amsterdam, 1983
and various other group and solo shows
in India and abroad.

He lives and works in Hyderabad. Goud is known
for his graceful, yet powerful line drawings,
etchings and water colors.
